When you are building an online presence with a website, social channels or just a few videos on YouTube, you will need a way for people to find you. They will not just show up at your door looking for your product that you are promoting. You will have to go find them and give them a reason to use your link.
When people use the search bar of their favorite web browser, they will use a search term that is normally more than one word. How do I find the best keywords for my post or video
First things first is to have a subject you are wanting to write or make a video about. For the purpose of this article we will use the following term for finding the best keyword for my post on my other website on gifts for this Christmas season- https://outdoorroomideas.com .
After several searches for the term best gifts for outdoor spaces, I came up with the following results.
Why would I choose the term “best gifts for outdoor entertaining” for the post on my site and what does each of the columns mean to me.
- First is a list of your search and other similar search terms. My term has more than four words for the best results.
- Second is the average number of searches on the web each month. My term has the most searches 80 per month.
- Third is the number of people that would visit your post or video each month if you were on page one. If I get this post to page one, I can expect about 14 visitors per month
- Fourth is the number of people who are using the exact same search term for their post or video. I should only have to compete with 8 other websites to get to page one.
- Fifth is if this is a great, good or poor keyword to use. This keyword shows as a great one to use.
- Sixth is the SEO value of this keyword, the closer to 100 the better, anything in the high 90’s is great. The value for this term is 97, not the best in the search but still very good for ranking
- Seventh is the domain names available for this keyword if you are looking to build a website.
Now I will write an article that is at least 1000 words for this keyword and post on my website. This should rank on the search engines and give me some traffic after a short time. Age of website or YouTube channel will effect the results that you can receive, more age and information the better the results.
Can I use keywords for YouTube
In simple terms yes you can. Unless you are dependent on people finding you as the next video, you would want people to find you in their searches on the web. Using great keywords for your title and in your introduction can be a great help in people finding your information.
People on the web will be least likely to leave your video or skip it if they had searched for the term in the first place. Having the right search term is just as important for a Youtube video as a blog post on a website.

- Use the Alphabet soup search, this will five you search terms that will start with each letter with your keyword included. This will give you a great list to find a great keyword.

- The brainstorm tab will allow you to think about your next step or direction for your website or YouTube channel.
The Site Rank tab are a great place to find out if your keyword choices have worked. Depending on the level of Jaaxy that you are at will determine the amount of site rank searches you can co each month.
- The search tab will give you the ability to search keywords for website and see where they are ranking on each of the three most popular search engines. You can even track keywords automatically on a preset amount of times each month.
- Using the tracked rankings tab you can see the results of the searches that you have saved.
The Affiliate Program Tab will allow you to refer people to Jaaxy and earn money.

My final thoughts on the Jaaxy the keyword tool
I would recommend the Jaaxy keyword tool to any one that is trying to rank a post, video or putting some information on your social channel that you want to show up in the search engines.
